Location of Flip – Spanaway

Project Overview:

For this project we had to go back to our roots with a modern farmhouse design because when you’re working with a rambler on over an acre in the country how could you not?! On the exterior we went with a classic black & white board & bat for that modern farmhouse aesthetic. We tidied up the landscaping a ton, removing trees, fencing & brush that was not only hiding the home but also keeping a lot of the light out as well. We reworked the back driveway by adding fresh gravel opening it up to make room for more parking. On the interior we took down a few unnecessary walls & converted a few of them into feature walls to add some character. The kitchen was the biggest transformation because we expanded the footprint & nearly tripled the space, adding a secret walk-in pantry while we were at it. The now family room was also two separate rooms & both were awkward so we tore down the dividing wall & made room for one big space to gather. All bathrooms were upgraded with new tile, vanities, & lighting. Lastly, we installed all new flooring & gave the whole house a fresh coat of paint throughout.
